walshie 2,804
That's our local pubs finished then. We had a very close call in that we were toying with the idea of buying our local pub at the end of last year. I feel really sorry for the family who bought it. TRUEBRIT66 1,579
So sitting down and eating your meal with a soft drink before 6pm makes you less likely to contract covid-19 than sitting down at 6.10pm with a meal and a alcoholic drink then! The cynic in me is starting to think this is more and more about control. 3

Think the few pubs that do survive this will have some good years ahead, but if you don’t have the freehold and are willing to diversify by selling milk and essentials and even takeaways of an evening it’s going to be a hard bumpy road,
Greyman 28,594
Once all the cash is gone I,m sure that things will all go back to normal, if cashless monitored tracked and chipped was what you considered normal,

walshie 2,804
If the "firebreak" worked, why do we need another? If it didn't work, what's the point in another?
