Nothing wrong with the old pellets Mitch. I am curious though, why you are switching back to pellets even though I know those 18gr are fantastic in fac .

Phil

One permission is  9 hole golf course plus football pitch on a private sports club.

I normally shoot BSA ultra 177 , but thought I would shoot the FAC crown with AA fields I believe they are a bit less ftlbs , about 33 in stead of 40ftlbs with slugs .

slugs you definitely need a good back stop , as they have a tendency of going straight through the rabbits head and travel at least another 20 yards

the only trouble with AA fields heavy is at 65 + yards you can see at night,  pellet drifting to the left by about 6 inches with no wind .

Have gone back with H&N 21 gr ,but running at 30 ftlbs for the golf course and 40 ftlbs for all my other permission These fly true and straight , even in the bit of wind. Plus hitting 65 mm rock at 232 yards ,my mate could not believe what he was seeing
