been an excellent torch but the last 2 batteries i've tried ok when i put them in but later battery is flat no ididn't leave them switched on is this a common problem or is the batteries on their way out

None of the 18650 batteries hold charge mate .Get caught out few times with the pard on same that uses 6 different makes of battery ,none hold charge .

I use Panasonic mate and have never flattened a battery yet and that's lamping rabbits for 6 hours or more constant. Expensive but the best

I think op is referring to leaving a battery in the kit after use mate .I’ve flattened many a Panasonic battery ratting with kit left on all night but agreed they are the best out there .

Best 18640 batteries are in laptop batteries if you have a laptop not holding charge open the battery up and check the "cells" (18650) batteries and only 1 will be at fault take them all out and charge individually then you'll have a good few decent batteries to use

i got some given off Si brown out of an old lap top

best bats iv ever had

there the ones i go to all the time now i charge three up put one in my pard 008 and one in my pard 019 spotter

the thrird i pop in my pocket .

but very rarely use it if i do its in the spotter as iv got it switched on nearly all night lol

Make sure you tape the ends u if its in your pocket or get the battery case I had one short out and melt through my cost jumper and to my t shirt out one night dodgy old thing lithium

well found the old laptop battery took it apart and managed to save 3 out of 6 batteries it's lay around about 4/5 years not charged so result 

so result lads thanks
