I just like the childlike style of that video. Granted its a small snapshot of the man but its how i imagine my 10 year old would be if he transported into a adult body and was class at football . I absolutly love watching my boy through the kitchen window playing football in the garden. It takes me back to my deep love of football as a kid . Hes out there lining up a free kick doing little bits of commentary "this free kick for the champions league , its 92 minutes , can he win it?" He slams it in and running round the garden kissing the badge , doing some stupid dance move celebration . Then he transforms into a keeper and starts throwing the ball over his head tipping it over the bar . Maradona just seems like a guy who still has a whiff of that child inside him playing . Playing for fun , to see what can happen if he tries something . I see it in messi sometimes where hes smiling playing like a little kid in the park when hes buzzing around the pitch Its no surprise players lose that simple joy as the get older , its part of adult life where things are just that little bit more serious especially when its your career . I reckon its the truly gifted ones who manage to keep it easier as its so effortless they retain the childlike fun of the game

Just imagine what more he could have actually achieved had he kept on the straight and narrow, that still doesn't take away from the fact that he was an epic football player.
