amazon prime

Recommended Posts

Having loads of scam calls on my landline number every day, got it on permanent answser machine now asking them to leave a message.

Majority do not leave a message, but some do.

Doesn't put them off though, as they keep trying everyday.

We bought an item and used Amazon prime, genuinely.   what we didn't realise was that inadvertently we had signed up to use it every month on a mandate.   After a couple of months I noticed this and cancelled it.  We lost a bit but it could have been worse, this was my fault and not a scam.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, three items last week.

When it comes to payment and delivery they give you an option of free Amazon Prime delivery for a week, but don't make it clear that your signing up to Prime.

If I need something quick, I take up the offer, then go to my account and cancel Prime.

Never had a problem yet, but the scammers seem to know when you use Amazon and the fake emails seem to start the next day !

Cheers.

I think that she wanted a toy for a kid's birthday and got the prime delivery.  Neither of us realised they were charging a fee every month regardless whether you used it or not.  It wasn't until I  checked statement that I realised this fact. We were at fault for not reading or understanding this. We did loose out but not a lot and we had to put it down to experience.   I don't get spam from Amazon junk but for some reason Bitcoin spam is very high and I don't know why. I don't know hòw to block this junk.  Also lately there's been a lot of mail from scammers who recon they've  Seen me in their house and want to contact me.  The spelling and grammar are terrible.  It's really crude a settup and it stands out a mile. It just is a pain and a waste of lifetime sifting the odd important odd mail that gets in the junk box
