Years ago I used to drink it from the Oak Casks at the brewery in Masham in Yorkshire I believe the strength has been toned down over the years it’s 5.6% in a bottle now where as in the past I’m sure it was 6+ still my favourite drink though, when ever I am up Yorkshire theakstons is always my go to pint, and you’ve hit the jackpot if they have Theakstons XB on draught.

Well my bottle arrived half an hour ago gnash . f**k me it's gorgeous mate. It's a shame that I've got work tomorrow,  or I'd be kicking the arse out of it .

While I was looking for it on amazon , I noticed the kraken and coffee flavour .  I'm thinking that I need to give that one a road test as well.  I reckon it'll go great with a nice cigar .

For a cherry hipflask don't think you'd do better than de kuyper cherry brandy, bit sweet for me all that. Stones ginger wine and scotch (whisky Mac) or straight single malt like aberlour 10/12 or similar more up my street or if really cold a slow gin. The best winter warmer I ever had although I'd been on stop since dark and was bloody freezing was given to me by some guns in the back of a landy, bullshot. Basically a thermos with minestrone soup half vodka and loads of Tabasco and I swear you could feel it travelling through you veins lol.

Be careful,  that shot of vodka may well lead to homo sex mate .  On the upside , at least it won't hurt as much if you're pissed.

I told my good lady of my plan,she rolled her eyes and said “All or nothing,only you” it’s in my head now,got to be done (I had coke and mineral water today).

The vodka is probably better for you than coke mack.

Life is about experiences Mel,I read the book and thought what a place to actually drink alcoholic spirit,not in a bar,not at home,but on a glacier in a glacial ice carved glass.

That's very true mack.  It'll certainly be an interesting experience. 

I'd think about it for two years , then I'd decide to go , then I'd change my mind and spend the money on a new gun instead .

That's why I've got no passport , and a collection of guns that I don't need .
