How many people on here drink nearly every single night of the week ? And if so if being completely honest wonder if they are alcoholics, I’m not sure how you would define an alcoholic and who decides who is or isn’t.

I drink mostly every night, usually around 3 x 440ml cans of Stella sometimes 2 cans sometimes 4 cans and more on the weekend but also have a night or 2 not drinking now and again and sometimes a week off. I just like a few beers after work every night to chill out, does this mean I’m an alcoholic , surely only having around 2 and a half pints (3x440ml cans) a night isn’t a problem or is it ?

Try and stop for a week and if you can’t then you have you’re answer

As I said I have a week off now and again which I’m doing this week and have started not drinking 1 night in the week so I’ve decided that means I’m definitely not an alcoholic

I go months without touching a drop of alcohol, if someone is drinking more days than they're having off I'd say theres a level of dependancy even tho it would be mild

Drinking for me is a sociable thing, I like a good drink in good company, definitely a binge drinker, and struggle with the end of night off switch, if the music and craic is good I enjoy watching the sun come up! ..

No way could I drink everyday, and have no interest in having a couple of pints each night, rather have a cuppa..

Each to their own though, I'm no one to judge for sure

Your probably right mate...I just don't enjoy drinking for drinking sake, for me it's always about the social...not saying g having 12 pints social on a Saturday night is better than 2 pints every night to relax..just not for me..
