Hopefully in august onwards I shall start drinking these 48 gallons of scrumpy I made today. Will average about 7.5-8.5% if the cider fairy's are kind this winter.

I stupidly did a 45 gallon barrel a few year ago because we had such a glut, that bugger went sour, thankfully all the six gallon containers turned out lovely.

Funny thing was I siphoned the sour one out the cider shed and ran it through the chicken pen ( shortest route) the birds were lapping it up, didn't affect them though which was very disappointing.

Just trying to less use of coffee and artificial drinks:(  Now I usually read different articles of an easy-to-follow guide to all things juicing like here. From a simple explanation of the benefits of juicing to a comparison of the different juicers available to buy, this book covers it all. Included are a number of juicing recipes to tempt your tastebuds & inspire your own experimentation. My query is, Does the nutritional quality of the juice degrade overnight? And if so, why? I am curious that way...

Really good larger this but £5 a pint....and £2 for the knock off coke. Local farm set up a brewery and was quite good, drinking real ale in the old barn.....now they have gone full on hipster wanker with street food and London prices.
