Born Hunter 17,751
Loxicom is just a brand name for the NSAID drug meloxicam. It's commonly used for arthritis in humans. 2 Quote Link to post

No good for you as you need it now. Best to go to the vets and part with a hundred quid for the standard consultancy, noroclav and loxicom. But it's worth knowing for the future as it's not uncommon to have a family members with chronic arthritis. Edited November 12, 2020 by Born Hunter Quote Link to post

Not for dogs it ain't! Quote Naproxen, a common over-the-counter NSAID, is commonly known by the names Aleve and Midol. Prescription medications that contain naproxen, and may come in tablet, capsule, or liquid forms. While safe to use for humans, naproxen is very poisonous to dogs and cats, as it has a narrow margin of safety (which means it is very potent). As little as one 220mg tablet can cause very serious symptoms (even death), even in a large dog. https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/poison/naproxen/#:~:text=While safe to use for, even in a large dog. 2 Quote Link to post
