Nik_B 3,790
What's the reason for checking the PH? To make sure the water isn't too acidic to hold fish? Quote Link to post

The pond is on marsh land not far from the Thames guessing it’s prone to a bit of salt but 7.4is good fir fish maybe it gets a flush of sea water on highest of tides have to have a few goes 1 Quote Link to post

It feels like ages since I was out fishing, I've been doing more lure fishing and had a few schoolie bass so far but the high winds have been never ending and I've got a hole in me boot 1 Quote Link to post

Session but no joy I've had schoolies here on Anglesey in Jan, Feb and March. I recon they have to stay close for the food as they won't survive the deep water. A mate of mine had a 6 Lber around this time last year. But the problem is the fecking wind! 40 mph is nothing here lol My daughter (12 at the time) has the record for bass in this house with one close to 5Lb, as she does for most species I only beat her trout record last year the little bugger! I'll stick some pics up soon from the last couple of years since I've been away for a while. This year's been a bust for obvious reasons. 2 Quote Link to post
