Mr Wilkes 3,036
Took the pup out to a different place this morning.. new scents , new sights ect which enabled me to go for a leisurely walk (a little later than usual) with the scout.. it’s amazing how many things you see when you haven’t got a 4 month old pup with you ended up with two which the land owner wanted me to leave for the red kites ✌.
fred90 3,260
Good shooting sir . just lately squirrels haven't been stopping long enough to offer a shot. yesterday little dog trees one and he sat offering a clean shot....... and fxxxcking knobhead here missed. on a lighter note, when travelling north I have often seen a couple of kites just outside Leeds area, often wondered if they were resident birds. andysparks 109
Excellent shooting. Tough little buggars squirrels, the 1745's are obviously decent bands.
Mr Wilkes 3,036
Atm I wouldn’t shoot anything else, a lot of people don’t get on with tubes , it’s like owt else if you keep practicing you’ll get better em.

I use them every winter, with a looped taper rather than doubled up like mr Wilkes, if I only had one elastic it would be 1745, tend to use flats in summer but when I run out will just be using the 1745s last longer less affected by tempature and cheap and easy to obtain
