Mark to be honest, you may go out and work your dogs, but you do come across as a bit of a storyteller.....the type who's always got a blacker cat or adds the extra few lb's to a fish he caught....

a storey teller ian why the feck would i need to tell storeys to get the admiration of some on here there are a couple on here who might of thought that before they met me but iam sure they dont now were we live to go out tonight and do like some boys do 5 hrs if i didnt come back with around the hundred mark i wouldnt of had a satisfactorie night,but them days are not on my agenda anymore,its about the dogs nothing else and why i still enjoy it i will keep it up,but i suppose its not always right sharing youre stories,mark

as far as catching those numbers quik it can be done with good rabbit numbers , good weather, and of course good dogs.

you still dont do your self any favours though do ya mark, putting a pic up with 21 and saying you had 31 chuck them a way if have to . but after you took a pic.

 

but heres the real thing for me.

 

YOU used to go on at the minshaw lads , saying it wernt possible all these big bags, and here you are 2 year later doing good bags , and even claiming a 70 with one bitch .

as far as catching those numbers quik it can be done with good rabbit numbers , good weather, and of course good dogs.

 

I my self have got 28 rabbits in 1-1/2 hours but with 1 dog , so 2 dogs running alternate is possible.

dowt i didnt i started by asking a few questions?????i will still say to this day andy knows his stuff and thats a credit to him but the strain of minshaw this super super dog in the hands of anybody i lived a short distance from andy in the 60s to the 80s only heard of minshaw once and it was my cousin in chorley who owned one,it wasnt no super dog we hunted the same patches of country if a best mate died in his area when they took the dogs there on night but we never got his nus,in my few debates with andy he offered me a visit and i accepted he never took me up after that,i say to you tomo get in that wee car now i will put you up tonight and tomorrow we will lamp tonight ferret tomorrow and then print what you see,you never know the rabbits might know youre on you way down and not come out to play and what a fool i will look but all i can promise seeing is rabbit fox and big red ones nothing else,i wouldnt make an invite to look a fool,all permission all ok,mark

Mark if your going to be smug then at least go all out and do it properly Take a pic of the whole bag or not at all. as for chucking rabbits in the hedge, what the fook? why would anyone want to waste good dogmeat, its not as if its illegal to catch rabbits, I could understand someone ditching a hare in the hedge if theyre on hot land, or planking a deer to go back for it later in the motor with no dogs, but why throw rabbits away, especially when youve posted pics to show you utilise them to feed your hounds

 

I like the CMW pic though I was half expecting to see a pic of you on your throne wiping your arse with it since youve got a newfound joy for taking pics

 

Its a good bag though, so well done, catching a decent bag of rabbits in January is good going, as if you really are out most nights doing 20s on the same bit, come January the ones that are left are not going to sit around waiting for a dog up their arse, so well done to the dogs.

 

Have to agree with Tomo a bit though, you change your tune more than a Jazz pianist, but it sure makes for entertaining reading

Im not being funny but youre to fat to run about until 5 in the morning, when i go lamping im flat out all night sometimes i can loose upto 4 pounds weight in a night, do you run about with the lamp or stand at gateways or drive the car and i agree with everyone else why say you caught 31 rabbits when there are only 21 on the picture JACKANORY

Touchy touchy, i explained the reasons why i dont think you could run around for 5 hours a night, an hour is enough for you by the look of you, what i cant believe is why you have to tell lies with the numbers no decent dog man would leave 10 rabbits when theyve got dogs of their own to feed, it just doesnt make sense then you say youre not bothered about numbers yet youve mentioned you were out an hour? why not just say you were out?, you caught 31 but yet only have 21 on the pics, why take that many pics of the same rabbits lol ,mention how much you get for them and how many trophies youve had ??? all numbers is it not????

i was asked about the other 10 i answered the question,as to walking around for an hour dont talk a load of shite numbers what 31 rabbits big numbers???dont think so i brought a load home for the dogs and a couple for the ferrets what more do you want,and finally i never mentioned what i get for them,i said what the farmers pay the shooters a pound a rabbit and they leave em were they shoot em as there all on new crops winter corn etsc and they dont walk are drive on em

Id be fecked if I would leave 10 rabbits in a hedge I can tell you, I would take them home and ask my mates if they wanted them and if they didnt I would chop em up and stick them in the freezer and use them when I did need them. Waste not want not as the saying goes
