I was running 4 through at a time yesterday...real thick banks so took a bit of shifting...used 2 small jills out of the same litter as your hob, all looking good so far..

Ah, great stuff mate...always worry if they are gonna work well when you pass them on, really glad he's starting well for you.

I've got another hob out of that litter your welcome to, if someone's coming up near you or anyone you know is down this way I'll box him.up and send him to you.

Failing that, you can take him.after next years fishing comp! Lol

Not enough youngsters getting involved these days so always good to them getting stuck in ,we had 5 pigeon flying clubs now we down to one simply as youngsters not takin working class pastimes up anymore . It’s a shame

I've tried to get mine out right from when they could walk, not sure they love it as much as I did as a youngsters but my lad is still happy to come along and my girl is mad for the ferrets, she done all the handling and looking after the kits this year...she done a good job too... my eldest girl isn't interested, 22 now so wouldn't want to get her nails dirty!! Lol

whether any of them keep at it remains to be seen.... my bet is my god son will, he works on a farm every weekend and has said he wants to go agricultural college and study farming...he us dead set on it...

Used to love my pigeons as a kid, rollers and tumblers, fan tails etc.

Not kept a pigeon since I left home though...want to get some again now.
