Naah.  Are you really going to drag that lot across muddy fields with gun, battery and lamp stuff.  Been there done all that. The novelty soon wears off when your wellies are like football's of mud and by the time you get set up the target is in the next county.  If you look on YouTube at shooting cape buffalo the black fellow runs to the front with a pair of sticks tied together with a bit of Bailer twine for the shooter to use as a steady.  I made a pair of sticks out of a scrap road sign frame. But I generally shoot Free hand out to eighty paces. That's apart from the price. Still it's  what floats  your boat.

I have used the Trigger stick tripod for about 3 years and find it to be bloody good although I know Mark likes the two point rest fitted but I am not too keen on that but as a system, I cannot fault it.
