Brilliant Robo, what calibre/ft lbs is it running?

Hey

It's 177, self tuned, using its favourite pellet - jsb heavies 10.34 at a tad under 19ftlbs

one of the pests was a head shot at 70m, I use a homemade tripod made with three carbon arrow shafts, works great!

Lovely job! And great to hear of your hunting in NZ! Why don’t you write a regular diary about shooting in NZ, the restrictions, the quarry, the land etc... would be a brilliant read! I’m curious, for example, about what FAC is like in a springer v sub 12 ft/lbs.

I had a 52 I bought either late eighties or ninety in .22, It cost me £129 new, they’re big and well made but not designed to work at their best below 12ft lb. Better at 20+ in .22

Mine had a rediculously weak mainspring in it to keep the power down to 12ft lb. Made the lock time slow and lazy.

You need to contact pianoman on here who shoots both FAC and Sub 12 springers, a better springer shooter you will not meet.
