Your obviously a man who who can make money no what he does mate

I've just started work again (not for myself) but want too start my own business next year im thinking a pork shop can't get a decent pork sandwich in chesterfield ?

Just be happy mate, if you are happy then it will be a success no matter what you do.

Forgetting the money my one of my greatest satisfactions was empowering lads who most of society would right off and certainly some of the clients we worked for would have seen as “scum” to be able to achieve things they never dreamed they could do, push themselves harder than they thought they could go.

Those lads walked in with people looking down their noses at them and walked out with the respect of everyone involved.

These lads saved lots of household names hundreds of thousands by delivering things well and on time just by their own hard work.

All they needed was a bit of direction and someone to make them believe in themselves and once they understood what they could achieve you witnessed their belief grow and saw them grow as men.

Thats where I came in, a lad from f**k all who has always considered that if I can do something then anyone can.

That always meant a lot to me mate.

This going to sound totally mental but if I ever got a new bloke and we were clearing a place I’d get them to sweep the floor !......you can learn bundles about people from just getting them to sweep the floor imho

The quality of that simple, boring, stupid task will tell you very quickly all you need to know about someone.

Sounds rediculous really but it’s true

Ain't that the truth ...

I started with my dad at around 15 helping on roofs etc...he said there is always something to do, always look for a job...so sweeping, tidying etc was a constant thing...

I suppose it stays with you cause anyone who has worked with me has been told the same...

My personal opinion is that you should pay Newkid 50 large to completely re-roof the place mate, it’s sound like a write off ! Lol lol

Have you guys ever employed women?  I tendered for and won an office cleaning contract. I had 4 full time and 19 part time women. Absolute nightmare. They were forever complaining about each other, bitching, moaning,  creeping to me, some coming on to me.(Not interested) It was a  nightmare. At the same time I e mployed 6 full time male window cleaners. No  problemo. Apart from the odd no-show. They required no supervision at all. Never again.

I only employed one female but I dealt with loads and my experience is that if you come across a good one then they tend to be very, very good indeed.

Mush is laughing but that's over £170,000 a year before tax.

I don't know of any people who earn those kind of wages.

Not everyone does work for a straight wage mate... there's many many ways to earn money, not just doing a 9-5 every day...

To pull £150k plus a year in a salaried job is high level professionals..... but not everyone is working for a salary...

I've employed a few woman over the years, I employ 2 at the minute working on the production of the UV-C kits...they are fine.

My brothers wife has worked for us for years in accounts and she is what keeps the companies ticking...we'd be absolutely lost without her..
