Haven’t seen much sign of panic buying as such, just a rush on certain shops since the ‘shop down’ was announced on Friday, starting today.

So obviously shopping streets/centres were packed out in all the main towns & cities of Belgium. Which I presume is the kind of behaviour conducive with spreading a virus?

Same here mate. Everybody is stood outside bars with take away cups of beer, coffee etc. Supermarkets are packed. Grandparents are playing with the kids in the plazas and parks after picking them up from school. Mask or no mask it's nuts. And I get into a ding dong with my mate (his business is fully going under because of this) because I went to the mountains ?‍♂️ No cnut around for miles and he thinks I and people who walk their dogs there are helping the spread ?‍♂️ Oh well.... not allowed outside of BCN for the next 3 weeks or so now. So no more spreading.

Seriously.... you're predicting the rise of national socialism because of the pandemic countermeasures taken? :hmm:

Mate, production and supply chains are fine. We've just got a bit of an idiot problem. It's minor.

No I  haven't.   It is history that allowed hittler to take advantage of a situation of financial depression.  This lockdown is only a month  to give the NHS a bit of help to slow the virus.  I have family  members who had good very well paid job, but the companies have failed and they've been made redundant.  Who's going to pay their mortgages.  It took sixty years to pay back the £21 billion loans from ww2.  Up until August we had borrowed ten times that amount. To ignore any of this is akin to stuffing your head in the sand.

Why mention it if it was irrelevant?

I don’t think anyone is particularly ignoring anything.
