I bred some kits to keep a couple jills for myself but she only had two hobs so I gave one to a mate to work and new it going to good home and other one I let go To pet home .any way this in July and yesterday I got a text from pet owner asking me to have him back ,I asked why and she said he "hob" uncontrollable and gone threw 3hutches since July and they can not sleep as he scratching at cage all night and they at wits end lol 

I agreed to take him back in few days time as I working and need to sort a cage etc for him and I couldn't beleave the cheek of it as I was told you need take him now as we got rabbits coming tomorrow so need the hutch for them .!!!?

You should have put him with rabbits then you know he be well fed when he comes back I don’t know jay they some weird folk about and ungratful at that

Not bad mate but same as everyone else at the moment with lockdown approaching again there just don’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel does there ? Hope you n the family all ok

Thats why i stopped breeding my ferrets too many messers  , then if they come for a ferret your giving them for free there eyes are everywhere , and its how much you want for that ?. What you doing with that ? 

looks like i might need to breed a litter next year the jills are getting older and im going to need a few replacements and im dreading it already

I’ve not bred a litter in yrs ,same as lurchers n terriers they attract every messer from miles around

Telling me ,last litter I bred was ten yr ago and all the strange fu@ckers come out wood work .

I think it’s worked out just fine.. they proved that they weren’t capable of looking after a ferret and did the decent thing by contacting you ( instead of dumping it in the nearest hedge) and you got a cracking ferret back . Perfect !.
