Chisora did enough to win the first fight if you ask me, fast forward to the rematch and Chisora was still giving Whyte problems until he landed that late left hook, you would hardly say Whyte had improved that much. I agree it's a nothing fight but the thing is Chisora doesn't really deserve to be in big fights let's be honest, he's a gatekeeper at best. It would be a slug fest against two plodding puddings. What i like bout chizora is he gives his best to thebest of his abilities and doesnt duck fights

The difference is Chisora will actually train and turn up determined to win.Wheras Allen will be happy to slur a load of old shit in a few interviews and take a hiding for a payday.I used to find him him quite funny and likeable but dont even think he deserves to be on televised shows anymore.

Yeah I get that, he's been quite embarrassing of late but for some reason Fast Eddie likes him and keeps giving him air time. For both now it's just about paydays, I'm sure a bout between the pair would sell and they both have a style that would gel.

Whytes performances against Parker/Rivas/Brown showed a vast improvement from his fight with David Allen...if you think Allen is a competitive fight for either Chisora or Whyte then id disagree but we all see sport different so no problem boss im good with whatever you think

I don't know how competitive the bout would be between Chisora and Allen. Del Boy would likely beat him up but the idea is that it would be entertaining while it lasted, Allen has some whiskers on him and can punch a bit. Chisora doesn't really have much options now tbh, he will be after a few paydays before he retires. Edited November 2, 2020 by Greb147
Greb147 6,809
There's so many fights out there for him but we have to keep it sensible and realistic. I know Haye is his manager but most of his shows are Matchroom fights, I don't think he's got that many fights in him before retirement.
Astanley 11,580
It would be a good fight for Chisora ,not so good for Allen ,the lad is already on his way to being punchy ,I wouldn't want to see him getting beat up just for my entertainment .

That's a fair point but Hearn is giving the lad air time and if you're going to get punched in the head it's better to get payed handsomely for it if possible. Allen is a man and can make his own decisions, he's chosen to continue fighting, he knows the risks involved. Chisora is past his best now and hasn't got much of a future himself. gnasher16 30,390
In days gone by a lad like David Allen would of made his living as a sparring partner due to his high level of toughness and low level of ability. However in todays social media times a good sense of humour can get you a professional boxing career.....but as Stan alluded to it can also get you health issues later in life. That's what he's been doing recently. He was one of Usyk's sparring partners for the Chisora fight. He is a not a good fighter but he is tough and sells well, Hearn puts him on PPV events quite often for a reason. Nobody wants to see the lad become a slurring mess but what kind of opponents are put there for Chisora who's on the verge of retiring himself. Someone mentioned Hughie Fury, that is a terrible fight for many reasons and just won't attract any viewers.
