When I was at primary school, the whole school used to go up the Cof E church on ascension day ,??  Two bars of holy, Holy and then off home for the day. My best mate suddenly tells the teacher her ain't going cos his mum says he is a JW . No one had ever heard about it.  Seeing as the school was a Cof E school the head wasn't that amused. Mate stayed in the school fot the whole day.  Many years went by and he married a nice girl.  She wasnt JW.  He went out shagging some other party. His Mrs got her own back on him by telling the JW mother.  Matey was wheeled in, cap off, court martialed  and thrown out of the club. Public turd throwing session.  He had to do some sort of penance for about two years before they would even acknowledge him.  For some years they used to come knocking on my door until one time this mates mother and sister kncocked.  The sister was , well.  I said that she looked fit and remember when we were kids, .  I've never had a knock since.  Well it saved me a lot of time in not answering the door. I wish that there had been digital cameras back then,   she might have had to do ten years penance. .

I helped a mate of mine do some footings and brickwork for an old bird who was one of that mob.First morning he picked me up he warned me to under no circumstances swear and that Id have to leave my radio in the van.He gets most of his work from them and they own half of the houses in the little village that we worked at as well as a massive manor house and church.They also own a timber merchant's in Canterbury and if you swear in there they will refuse to serve you and ask you to never come back.

Thats it mate...emailing only very recently...no radio on whilst they are working (we worked on his factory extension)... 

I've found them very fair with money and loyal, only dealt on a professional basis with them, I think socially they only stick to their own.

Same....they dont appear a lot of fun to be spending a Friday night around but seem like a loyal,well spoken bunch with manners and integrity.....they just have some strange ways about them but then dont we all
