andysparks 108
Just back from a mooch down the lane with the dog and finally managed a few pheasants. I haven't seen any about in weeks but tonight I spotted half a dozen at least so, looking good for the future.....hopefully

andysparks 108
A mix, two with 11mm steel and one with the 8x11 bean shot. All under 10 yards with nice clean neck shots.
Mr Wilkes 2,984
Can’t beat that 11mm steel. I took the pup out earlier and was watching 5 hen and 3 cock birds just about to roost

oblivious 26
Good shooting mate Is that green GZK bands you are using? I haven't seen many pheasants about round my way this year yet. Need to start looking harder I think

You get within 40 yards and they run or fly off

As the season goes on they get more scatty like you have said and its time to try alternative methods
