I'm the same mate the estates round here have not released due to this Covid, alot of estates not shooting this season

I think that's the case round my way. If I do get the chance of a shot there always seems to be people about too. I think alot more people get out for excersise now after lock down. Can't blame em really but it's not helping me fill the freezer!

The nearest estate is four mile from this bit of land but there is a nature reserve quite close.

Wild birds have had a banging good year this year, Been flushing up loads of poults from nests as opposed to released birds, my local land fill site is alive with them, try and have a walk through cover with the dogs from time to time and the catty ready but still not managed to hit one on the wing yet, been close a few times but still no prize ?
