Well, just for a bit of perspective, I have a long wheelbase shogun Pajero thing of the type everyone who farms owns over here, it’s 16 years old and I think a rat has died somewhere in bodywork because there’s a weird smell ! Lol True Story !

Lol True Story ! I did own a range rover,a classic model 1980s, with a v8 tuned tvr lump, straight threw pipes,in tranquil country green, ffs, sounded like a nascar coming up the lane.that upset the local great,n good of the area. chartpolski 23,243
I had an early 80's Range Rover, built by Wood & Picket, every thing about it was non-standard, a bugger to get spares for. 3.5 litre petrol, did about 9 mpg , good job I had it in Saudi where I could fill the tank for about a fiver ! Cheers.

Land rover are now show pony's. The old defenders were good off road but unreliable same as the discos

Didnt know that, i keep half an eye on the retro Fords but couldnt afford a Range Rover back in the 80's so have never paid much attention to them but seems like they're making good money now.
