i was selling a deerhound bitch for a boy my mate knows before and he never got back to me . bt my mate was down today and the boy has been taken into custody for a good few years he ses that weve to take the dog tonight as hisgirldoesnt want her and he has no one that will take her she s 9 months lue and im ot sure if she is paperd or not . just wondering what the best way to train her would be as as far as im aware he hasnt done a thing with her dont know if she's even been of the leash if she settles in my kennel im going to keep hold of her as she should be handy for retreving some of the big stuff when she's a bit older as my pet hate is shooting and having to walk out to pick up my self so any help on how to train her would be good im unsure if she's even seen any other dogs so itl be a task getting her used to my lot . are they any use for rabbits ? my mate ses that both parents took hare pre ban but i would have thought the hare would be a bit fast for a deerhound ?

i know what they were meant for but didnt think they had the pace for hare and have heard its harder for them on rabbits as they have to strike down at them or something , ill obviously be starting with the basics but im more intarested in how you would have started them on the big stuff pre-ban just so i could understand the breed better . do you just point them at deer and let instinct do the rest or is there someone near bye willing to show me the ropes ? i have plenty lad to shoot them on if they have a dog that will retrever to show my pup the ropes .

the one and only pure bred i saw was mustard on rabbits for a large dog and was doing well on hares as well

sounding better all the time the bitch is untouched we went and saw her tonight to find three dogs her a saluki bull grey 12month old red dog with socks and an old saluki the saluki is well naked and is being but to sleep he is badly under weight and wouldnt get up out the bed poor old dog . the deerhound and the dog pup were a bit heavy but cracking dogs the woman ses weve to take em both so going back for them tmz getting the kennel aswell the girls going mad but screw it lol . the fawn pups doing well on the lamp she has a full freezer from before he got jaild to prove so ill see what happens ill post piks when we take them a walk tmz .
