Get ya dog and lamp. Walk wherever you want to walk if you think it’s a decent spot and your dog should learn you as much as you’ll learn him. I never new fuckall about lamping really I’d been out dow

Get a lamp an get the dog out if it’s old enough an has some basic training. take what people say on here with a pinch of salt.only thing I’d say is don’t expect miracles an expect the dog to be takin

Far too young to be running anything other than a ball and only gently till she's at least 9 months then nothing much tbh, as well as being too young physically she'll be too young mentally. Plen

Start lamping training after 10 months, prioritizing basic obedience like recall and heel on lead first. Utilize short, positive sessions with treats and praise. Ease into lampwork with controlled lead walks near rabbit warrens, gradually transitioning to off-lead work with a strong recall foundation. Invest in a reliable headlamp and lead, prioritize safety gear for you and your dog. Ignore conflicting advice, focus on building trust and respect with your pup, let her natural instincts guide her when ready.

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
