I have never seen a decent proper fen dog run a hare but have watched a few dvds so i am no expert... Anyway you know you get a saluki greyhound first cross.. do folk ever put a sauki over a decent lurcher bitch?? Would that not be better than a greyhound?? Mabie folk do i aint in the know.. Guest Frank Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 Over here, where the feilds are small and their is a lot of cover, folks tend to go 3/4 Grey, 1/4 saluki, or, 1/2 grey half saluki. Other times, speedy lurcher to lurcher types. Quote Link to post

When the pure saluki Sonny was bred to the saluki lurcher bitch, Irish Lady, all the litter had class and the one that was tried in Ireland killed loads in small fields. Quote Link to post
