Greb147 6,809
My 9 month old Akita still has his top set of puppy fangs tight alongside his adult teeth, is this common at that age and if not do they need pulling out ASAP? sandymere 8,263
In normal development puppy teeth are re absorbed inside the gums until there isn't enough root to hold them in place and they fall out, if this hasn't happened it may be that there is still to much root and re adsorption didn't completely finish, in which case they well may need to be removed or they will likely have a detrimental effect on the adult teeth, so as above get them checked by a vet. Maximus Ferret 2,063
Get it sorted. I've had a dog lose the permanent tooth in this situation.
Greb147 6,809
The dog had his two teeth pulled out on Friday and this morning while emptying him he's shitting bright red blood, has anyone ever had this a day or two after being put under?
