You can breed from your dog as soon as you like if you can find someone willing to use him, he will probably line a bitch by 7/8 months at a push. However what folk are trying to point out is you’re on a working dog forum and most working dog folk like to have their dogs do some work and prove their worth before using them for breeding. Not all working bred dogs work well, just like not all race bred dogs are any good. 5 Quote Link to post
