Had my first one break into 2 pieces whilst out one night but I had already had more than my moneys worth out if it so didn't really mind. It had taken some hammer. Quote Link to post

I have a plr myself but bought one of these for night rides on the mountain bike and the light from it is unreal so I'd imagine a purpose made hunting light from a quality manufacturer would be some piece of kit.
