philpot 5,003
No not my car although we are getting there, no I am talking about air tanks. For years I had a 4lt air tank but after buying the Impact fac, it seemed a good idea to get a bigger tank which I did and got a 12lt tank that has proved to be spot on. I still had the 4lt but rarely used it and even when I took it on holiday to Suffolk, it was a heavy lump so I have just done a swap in the rfd for a dumpy 3lt tank. I have to say what a pleasure to carry this little fella around, ideal to take on holiday with the hw110k and to take onto a big rat perm if it comes off (still waiting to hear) as a filler for either the 110 or the Impact. I guess I could top the 3lt tank from the 12lt tank if needed and I will get a joining unit in order to link the tanks although it will not be my main method of filling it as I am in the rfd at least once a week so an easy job. I have just bought duplicate filling probes for both the 110 and Impact so I do have a set of probes for each tank ........................why...................ask my wife because she says for some unknown reason that I forget everything which of course in totally false, just that I am thinking of other far more important things Sadly, there is a leak on the gauge but that will be swapped tomorrow when I go on the range at my rfd's, in fact I am going to get another gauge on the 12lt tank as the numbers are getting smaller every time I use it or is it my aging eyes Phil Quote Link to post
