Gave Sean a bell friday night saying im going for an early morning shoot if you want to come

got one back saying you will not be up lol

any way i was he was not hit the farm at 4am.

and shot till 8am photon was spot on checked zero at 33yrds with the range finder 3 shots bang on the money

then put another n3 in just for the hell of it lol

Parked the tank away from the farm house just incase i woke them up and went for a walk about got the first one after a bit of a chase at 33yrds and lights out first in the bag .

Next was at 38yrds spotted it with the pard spotter went prone set the shot up was just about to squeeze the trigger and it took off followed it with the scope and it stopped dead in its tracks took the shot and it just rolled over but there had been another behind it and it took off

and did not stop until it was safe lol.

that was two it was starting to get light by this time went back to the tank and had a bite to eat

and set off again came across another two lined the shot up and i could not see it in the scope i could see it if i took my eye off the scope but soon as i used the scope it just vanished and me being me let it go for another day ,

this went on two or three times before i called it time and went home them photos are shit in day light

could of had a few if it was not for that

now need a day time rifle with a normal scope

and the raider for nv shooting

hmmmmmmmmmmm another hw100k or another fx crown

may be another springer hw97k

Ether way its another rifle as i dont want to start chopping and changing scopes every time i go out .

Best to get rid of the shit photon , buy a scope and pard 007 , sorted

good shooting though , but could of had easy double with 007

Now just wait a minute old pal, I do recall you telling me that you wanted to buy the laminated hw110 ......... KT ......... of course it has that bloody hole in the stock 

May be you need a 110 without the hole in the stock for your daytime baby.

Nice shooting Jimmy 

           My choice would be a 97K in .177 for daytime buddy, this 97k I bought off Simon, ( pianoman) is outstanding in the hunting field.

           Never shoot just a pcp mate, as you know, shoot both and the spring rifles will always keep your shooting to a high standard,- never, ever the other way round.

Thing is with me Mark

i can leave a spring rifle for a year or two then pick one

up and be as good with it as if id been shooting it every day for two years

even more so if its a hw97k or pro sport even a t rex

after a few shots it all comes back to me .

still cant hit out mind but it all comes back to me lol

A bit like swimming, riding a bike and having a shag me thinks, if you were once good it soon comes back, if not - buy a pcp  , or an FAC air if you were really crap at airgun hunting( hit anywhere will do ), , - the old  Bingo caller won't be long now.    ( well i could`nt resist)
