Plum removal...????

Had this message a couple of days ago;

'Hi xxxxx, I saw you commented on another post regarding removal of wasps. We are having a small issue with wasps at the moment and are after some help. I have a small plum tree in the garden which we have left the fruit on (stupidly) and now we have a lot of wasps attracted to it. Ideally I would just like someone with a suit to remove the fruit in the hope the wasps will disperse. I have looked for a nest around and don’t think we have one in the garden or house. Please let me know if you are able to help. I’m on - 078xxxxxxxx or 012xxxxxxxx '

I said I would be happy to come and have a look and if it's feasible I'll give it a go. Still hasn't got back. You just don't know what your gonna' see in them there Emails!

Standard nob heads. Had some bloke on the phone for 10 minutes the other day talking about wasps. He then said he wanted me to quote for removing and re homing them alive.

Neighbour just had one done in our village and cost him £85 .Is this about the going rate in the Cotswolds .

We cover a lot of The Cotswolds and I thought we were expensive - £66 inc Vat

I suppose the going rate is whatever you can get mate .Some folk just take first price given without shopping around .

In the building trade I can’t be arsed  to ring several firms to save a fiver so stick with the merchants I know .
