I assume they will offer sample packs in both 6.34 and 6.35.   I will definately try them in my Mk1 original smooth twist barrel. Already asked my rfd to get them when available.

Phil

Apparently you need either slug or superior liner for them to work the best , but stx barrel iapparently works ok

Oh well screw that then as I am not buying another barrel, good job I am happy with the results using AA Field.  Thanks for the info Mitch.

I don’t blame you Phil. Although I’ve got good results with h&n slugs and jsb slugs in .22, I’ll still be using pellets mostly as I have no need or desire to chase .22 rimfire performance with fac air. That’s not why I got it.

I have to say DB that I am not bothered to be honest as the pellets do a job for me and I will switch to rimmy if needed but the day may come that I invest in a new Impact with all the spec that will give me the ability to play around with new technology products.

That of course based on me winning the lotto.  ?

Yep, mine has the 700mm stx barrel in .22 and seems to work equally as well with both pellets and slugs. In fact it’s absolutely pinpoint accurate with both and I’ve got to say that I’m very pleased with it?

It’s only the liner you need and you can turn your impact into the latest , exactly what my mate did for about £115

FAC air using slugs is more accurate than .22 rimfire at distance and doesn’t drop as much

Using hollowpoint subs, maybe, but with decent club or match ammo?. Having said that, I can hit a bottle top at 100 yards with eley subsonic hollow.

My barrel is the original barrel and has no liner Mitch so how can I change the liner. I know I can have the extra plenum fitted but I think I would need a complete new barrel with liners.

100 yards with sub but past that slugs win , plus shooting in trees with slugs ??
