AND COULD YOU EXPLAIN WHY . MANY THANKS JOHN Hello John, that's a bit of an odd question, if you have two scopes why not try both and see which one you prefer. I have a Webley Tomahawk fitted with a Webley 4 x 40, zeroed at 30yds, love the set up. I also have a Weirhauch 35K fitted with a 3-9 x 50, zeroed at 40yds, love the set up. I have a 3-9 x 50 on my rimfire zeroed at 75yds, love the set up. The only person who can set up the scope and decide which is best is you. Experiment and practice. Happy shooting. PS: Let us all know how you get on and if you need further advice just ask. Quote Link to post

We've just been out on the lamp, Tyla had a couple of good runs - shes millimeters behind them, it wont be long now! As to scopes it depends on your style of shooting, whether your into parralax rangefinding, mil dots, adj turrets etc. The best advice is to try as many as you can and go for the one you feel most comfortable with. Good hunting Quote Link to post
mad al 146
Nothing wrong with the AGS one in my opinion, I had a 3-9X40 on the XL and it was a great scope for the money. My personal favourite is a Nikko Sterling 10-50X60 that I've got on the Air Wolf, even my eyes can see everything with this!!! Quote Link to post

Shooter46 That's about the best advice so far but..you have not said what power the gun is..I assume 12ft lb..and you have not said what you want to do with it...so the only response can be as above..try the 2 you have and see which one suits you best. Cheers Deker Quote Link to post

Coney 3
Currently using a Pro-Illuminated 6-24x50 Mil Dot AO purchased from JS Ramsbottoms (on line) scope itself crystal clear from 10 yards to infinity, unique zero locking / zero reset turret system, etched glass reticule, fully coated camera grade lens throughout, fogproof, shockproof and waterproof and all for £100 quid. I have in the past tried numerous expensive scopes Simmons, Tasco, Walther etc all have done the job perfectly so I tried a set of these from JSRs for a change and got quite a suprise on how good the quality was. Why not check out their web-site many good quality scopes to be seen, these scopes are the largest I have tried I normally opt for a 4-12x42 as this size of scope has always servrd me well. Hope this helps Coney. Quote Link to post
