mjr88 50
Hi guys. After recently selling my rimfire, I now have a vertually brand new and unused Vortex 3-12x42 HP scope left over. And I'm just checking If you guys think that this scope would be suitable to use on a legal limit air rifle. Due to the fact that the parallax Is set from 30 yards to Infinity. Opinions please lads : https://vortexoptics.com/diamondback-hp-3-12x42.html?vortex_reticle=978 Edited August 9, 2020 by mjr88 Quote Link to post

Jonjon79 13,358
30yrds to infinity should be fine for an air rifle - test it on lower mag and see what happens. .......... it's a decent scope so you might get less range on lower mag. Quote Link to post
philpot 4,981
Sounds fine to me. Phil Quote Link to post

I don't think the scopes that we used to have years ago were air rifle "specific" but still performed. Quote Link to post
