Devon Minnow 152
Down the river early this morning hoping to catch a salmon but nothing in the usually places, had seen some seatrout lying up so removed salmon setup and tied on a Brown/Gold Devon minnow and cast upstream on the retrive the typical bow wave follow right to my feed 2m behind the Devon Minnow. Cast out again and again same thing happen, change to a Gold/Black and still the same , changed to Blue/Silver and the same happened again and again just wounded if they are following government guidance on social distancing Quote Link to post

Devon Minnow 152
They won't look at plugs, toby's, mepps or flying 'C'. Not many people use Devon Minnow on are stretch of river they are a lure. which is dying out and to find a good Devon minnow now a days is getting hard each year. Jackies, Mchardy 's ,Lane and Spey sprat are no longer available. The only place I can get good Devon's is John Norris and Spintec in Cumbria. Extra movement (sideward) can be achieved by removing the mount and running the shell on some slightly heavier mono a bead then the hook. Quote Link to post
