In a topic that involves ,football ,and NUFC  , Max could make Greb seem like a reasonable chap who doesn't like a never ending argument .

He'd have a saluki and a white bed sheet bought the day they took over.

Given that no one agrees with you I’d suggest it ain’t. Its Max-sense and Max-morals.... Part of the greater world view that is Maxology

In another note did anyone see Ronnie OSullivans interview ?

Amazing, I Love watching people at the top of their game talk as bluntly as that.

Snooker and Darts have died a death, and you can only wonder why?

Maybe, as Ronnie says is it’s because the players have just become too ordinary ? Too boring?

Ronnie lives near me,been in his company a few times and just cant take to the lad, something just a little unpleasant about him that you cant quite put your finger on....but best player of all time without doubt....im not sure Snooker and Darts have died a death....darts is more popular and gets more tv time than any era in the sports history....the golden era of Snooker was without doubt the 80,s but still seems popular i know the Rileys chain have closed a few halls down recently but still has something like 20 across the country and Tv ratings must be high or it wouldnt be on.... all the olduns i know love the game they,ll sit glued to it for days.

Ronnie is an arse, proper strange character. If he's not really bothered about the sport like he always claim then why bother turning up?

He's mentally falling apart in recent years because he's no longer the best, it must make him feel better sagging other players off.

I’m probably just well out of touch mate, it’s hard to sit down and watch snooker or darts when you have 5 other people saying “what is this boring shit?” and moaning at you ! Lol ?

I dont think there is anything unusual in elite sportsmen being a bit of an horrible c**t.......I think it just go’s with the mindset in many cases.

The “best” example I can think of is Lance Armstrong.....you get a feeling he would have cut his granny’s throat to win, just no emotion to anything or anybody outside of what he wanted to achieve.

I think that's different though, Armstrong was ruthless in his pursuit to be the best and no prisoners were taken.

Ronnie is just having a pop at the other players because he knows he's on the slide, it's quite comical watching him fall apart at the seams tbh.

I can't believe players over the years didn't try and push his buttons more to try and gain an edge over him.

He can be mentally weak when things aren't going his way.

What you need is a garden shed ?

I cant remember his name but i had the odd natter with a lad on here who played snooker to a decent standard, interesting chap to talk to......for me its one of those sports/games i enjoy playing but cant watch it for long.....im half decent on a pool table but snookers just too big ?.....again darts i can play for hours ( and never get any better ) but 10 minutes watching on telly and im nodding off.

It seems a shame that the competitive aspect of sport is not enough and they need " characters " to sell these sports......its something team sports get away with you can be the most boring b*****d in the world and still get to the top ( Rooney for eg )

I loved a game of snooker when I was going out regularly, my best break is around 40 so never been really any good.

I'm one of them that can pull off some great pots but then miss something easy, I hate straight shots.

I always play better when I play against someone decent, fancy a knock now. ?

It does make me chuckle when you hear these passive aggressive lefty types coming out with their " well what you gonna do about it then, nothing thats what ".......like running out into the street slinging right handers at random wogs will get the ball rolling !

What these idiots seem to forget is blacks have a different rule set to whites....they can literally do anything they like to white people and get away with it yet 10 year old white children are having their front doors put through for saying " hurty words " on the internet !

Level the playing fields, equalise the rule set....and you,ll see your average white family man come to the front.

I think characters have always mattered mate, Julian is a good example, his attitude on a football pitch was absolutely what you looked for when you watched that team Play, Frank McAvenie ?......out on the piss with a load of page 3 birds on Friday night then knocking in a hatrick on a Saturday........we all shook our head but loved it really.

People can relate to it.......big sports shows require showmen, I bet Ronnie coming out with all that doubled the viewing figures.

Where's the contradiction ?

Iv said he's the best heavyweight Britain has ever produced and the best in the world at this moment in time ?

Last year you said he's better than muhamad ali, then backtracked and said he wasn't lol. Pointless me asking if you believe he's better than joshua, a british heavyweight, but do you really think he's better than lennox lewis, another british heavyweight?

You're being more than a bit silly with all this 'fury's the best ever' nonsense max. He's not, not even the best british heavyweight, by a country mile.

Beating wilder DOESN'T make fury a great boxer, wilder is very poor. And he's fury's biggest win
