Sent for twenty meters of 1745 premium tubing from dankung and they put some red 2050 in free of charge, something different to try .

I used tubes but never really tried them out properly. Which tubes you think would suit 8mm?

I’m currently shooting 1745 double, short draw / 10mm lead with some crazy results, you also  have to max out any tubes to get the best out of them.

I use the 1745 most winters, I do draw quite long but if you make a loop at the fork end you can adjust the power according to your ammo, if I double up the hole length can go up to 12mm lead or down to 9.5 steel with a 1/3rd loop., as mr Wilkes said I would imaging a single strand would be fine for  8mm, have used it single on a pickle fork and was fine with 9mm on targets

Had a very rare quiet house to myself yesterday and thought I’d gather them all up still have a few unbanded ones and a couple of starships as well laying around, have given away half dozen or so this year already but each year you end up with one or two keepers
