maddog1974 0 Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 what a top night as well for a dog thats been laid up for a long time and still not fully healed lurcerchavys dog runs very well we do it again soon well done poacher nice kills is the pup still not killing ??maybe you better bring him 2 me and leave him with me for 1 month ill try 2 help if not ill buy him off you no probs good breeding stock but dont worry i think he will come around saluki are funny som times they wont 2 play nice work matey carnt wait 2 run dogs with you Quote Link to post
ferretman22 1 Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 went for a quick lamp last night, with lurcherchavvey,willboy and poacher9991. lurchercavvey had the first run on a rabbit and killed it, poachers young saluki dog had the second run on rabbit, good little run but hes still not striking. poachers older dog sly had a long run trying to flush a hare after a good shot he made a fine retreve! lurcherchavvys dog had a good flush but we where unable to get a shot! he did well though! next up it was sly again and he made another good retreve on number 2! the last flush of the night was lurcherchavveys dog and young storm poachers pure saluki! storm looked very promising but agen no kill! end result was 2 hares for sly and one rabbit for lurcherchavvey dog alfie! all the dogs ran very well! pic sly on the right and alfie on the left! You need to be aware of the hunting with dogs act...........i don't think i need say anymore. Rolfe. im sure it states that you are within the law to use two dogs to flush to guns am i wrong then????????? doesnt the law say that it is illegal to lamp hares Quote Link to post
