Gypsydog94 4,627
Now you may laugh at me for this. But has anyone ever tried using one to pull a lure? Just something different for the dog on the build up to the season and help to build a bit of fitness twisting and turning couple evenings a week instead of the same old jogging beside a bike and free running. I’ve thought about this before and I think it’s a great idea. I mentioned it to the wife and she shook her head muttering something about being a big fecking kid, so it sort of died a death. But when I bring a pup on next a Tamiya is on the cards. Edited July 17, 2020 by Allan P 1 Quote Link to post
Shadow100 1,066
Wouldn’t do any harm, but it won’t make the dog reach a better level of condition than just trotting and free running, a bit of fun for the dog is all it would be I think Quote Link to post

Mine chases quad at work on farm. But don’t get quick turning like you would with electric car I wouldn’t have thought Quote Link to post

To be honest my dogs do plenty of twisting and turning when they’re free running. Way I see it a dog doesn’t get anywhere near fully fit without running live game regular, the pre season stuff is just so the dog doesn’t pick up unnecessary injuries when you first take it out, as long as their muscles are hardened up & everything's the way it should be it won’t make any difference to early season performance whether you trot them, free run them, swim them or run them behind a lure/electric car Edited July 17, 2020 by Shadow100 1 Quote Link to post
