HW80K?

Hi all,

What are your thoughts on the HW80K, good break barrel, and is it tuneable like the 97K? It will be for static hunting.

Best break barrel of all. Great on FAC power. An eminently tunable spring air rifle. You will not be dissatisfied with it.

Better at FAC level than sub 12 , but can be worked on to make it more sub 12 friendly

Got one in 1.77,sub 12lb,knocked this over the other evening.....walked it out and it was 54 paces

One of my big regrets is selling mine, it was one of the first in the country back when I was a boy, went to buy an hw35e and the shop keeper said if I were you I’d wait a couple of weeks for the new model eighty that’s coming so I did , also had a sharp ace that I wish id kept,

It’s a piece of piss mate do it your self, easiest way just drop a vmach kit into it and if your feeling adventurous you can send the piston off for polishing and buttoning there’s a few people around that do it,

I had a sharp ace as well. Swapped it for a 12 bore shotgun and regretted it. They were really accurate and in .22 only needed three pumps to hit 10ft lbs.

very good little airgun.had mine vglided and sleeved by mr lewington.never had such a smooth springer in all my life and i have had a lot.sold it in the end as it did not feel like a springer anymore.

There are a shortage of springers at the moment, hardly any in Kent, apparently Hull Cartridge are awaiting a delivery from HW, Germany!
