I don’t know anything about the adjustable pellet probe, but I was told that mine would do 60ft lb with its 700mm barrel. I can well believe that, because with the reg pressure only on 95 bar and still loads of adjustment left on the hammer spring and air flow valve, it will run at 43/44 with jsb 18.1’s. I’ve turned it down slightly for pellets and it’s running on the adjustment wheel at min 25.5 to max 40 with 18.1 grain pellets. If I turned the reg pressure up, it’ll be interesting.....?

That Matt Dubber is a clever lad for sure. To be very honest, I am never likey to be in a position to buy an Mk2 let alone a Dubber special but I can certainly admire what has been done here.

True, these latest incarnations are pushing the boundaries forward, that’s for sure. How far they will go will be interesting to see. To my mind though, how far do they need to go?Another 25ft lbs with the heavy slugs and you end up with a rather expensive version of a .22 rimfire shooting subs. If and when they emulate that performance, they may have become rather pointless? Still, I find it interesting to see what they can achieve.

Whilst I am interested in these developments, I am inclined to agree with you DB.

I got the impression that .25 slugs have not been the success story that .22 are.  Is your pal using slugs or pellets Mitch.

Total waste of time when i go lamping at work , first call is to the security office phone the police and get a job number then the guys log it onto there report with the number till i call them back and logout . Six times the armed response have been called out .I often get a call on my mobile Bob where are you the police are here and would like a word ?LOL > i say fine i will be back in ten minutes they check my paperwork say any chance of a shot of the gun ,( probably to guess the power ) and say youve got a few rabbits there and go . I always quote the job number but they and the normal bobbies say control never let us know ?? . Now i even tell the bus drivers and if im shooting in term time i just try to do both the research parks and leave the campus till the students are off  . It doesn't bother me as ive done it for so long but the other guy that used to share it packed it in as he said his bum hole was playing tunes every time he was stopped LOL

Okay Mitch, who is selling them and I will get a box / tin to try in the standard gun before thinking about plenums.  What sort of problems did your friend have with the 25.4 slugs.
