Im thinking of getting one

Personally I prefer a day scope with a pard 007 for night time 

no nothing about them but some say pard 008 are better

I had a long chat with a guy in the rfd before lockdown who had swapped his Pard for one. He has a youtube channel or blog or something like that and was critical about the image quality he got from his various nv systems and said this gave the best image reproduction which in turn also means the image you see was excellent.  These were his comments not mine but he did show me some of the footage on his phone of examples of film shot on both Pard (cannot remember which one 007 or 008) and the Wraith films were so much sharper.

That was my only experience of the Wraith I have but I was very impressed with what I saw.

I see that Mitch's favorite dealer, along with the importation of ATA shotguns, FX airguns and now Pard........................good reason not to buy a pard mind you I will back down as my wife has just bought an ATA shotgun which we should be picking it up today or tomorrow.

You forgot they are also main dealer and importer of CZ now . 
it’s not my favourite but my local RFD is , that’s where I buy most of my gear from .

when I was thinking about buying my CZ and tikka , he gave me a price and said I might be better of going to SGC , which I did and saved £100 ,but still use my local more

Yes I had forgotton about CZ, another great shame.

I thought they had all gone on the scrap heap now

Is this for the Raider Jimmy, if so the Photon will be a bit limiting during daylight I would have thought but again the only experience I have was the one I borrowed from you and in all fairness I am sure I didn't have it set up properly.  I believe you can get some low prices on them now.

I love my pard 008 on my ultimate sporter

We spent a good while setting a photon up on my pals Sako quad .22, couldn’t get it to hold zero. We carried on trying, then it fell off the gun I don’t think he’d tightened it down very well. I was quite impressed with the pard that he’s now got on a t-bolt. Strangely though, we couldn’t see some eggs on a wooden beam at 100 yards. We could see the wood and grass, nettles etc clearly, but not the eggs? Looking through a standard scope and yes, the eggs were there, crystal clear. Very strange, but apart from that oddity, I like the pard better than photon.
