Greyman 28,108
Not fecking me, am a bit antisocial at the best of times and don’t really enjoy crowds, but throw in a bunch of newly appointed coved police with there own rules, a credit card only system and booking tables or slots to go in, can see this one working out an absolute treat, my local working mans club has been open and serving beers since 8 am, so I think tonight I’d rather be a spectator than a participant but recon a very busy night ahead, anyone getting out there to join the skirmish??? 1

Same as you greyman I can walk to 2 pubs in under 2 mins but have never been in any of them in the 4 years I have lived here I know most of them that go in not for me like you I can't be arsed with it no doubt tonight they will be a few falling out as per normal
South hams hunter 8,921
Not a fecking chance; cues of nearly 50 people at 8 am down here
Jonjon79 13,358
I don't often go the pub anyway but, I certainly wouldn't go tonight - it's going to chaos later after a few of them have overdone it.
dytkos 17,784
I'm gonna walk past the local when I take the dogs out but won't be going in. Might sit outside and have a beer one night in the week if the weathers good but not that bothered. Young lass next door is Assistant Manager so I'll get the lowdown from her father when I see him later. Cheers, D.

It's been busy, I've not been and don't intend too, I can see the appeal if it's your only social, or you're not married with kids lol. But last place I want to be is big crowds, today would be the worst day to go, I know lots in work been building up to this Id imagine it's going to be a pressure cooker going off......stand back. I’ll be surprised if they go the distance and don’t all get shut down today! the rules aren’t gonna work

Maybe close doors three times a day for deep cleans etc. Hopefully the appeal wears off, weather probably helping if it was scorchio be a different story. But wait for it BLM protests will be forgotten and they'll immediately blame the beer in a pub garden.... If it gets people to move on from that BLM bullshit I’m all for the pub they’ll be smashing each other in and not statues of Winston! pretty safe to say my locals not full of spotty lefties though they’d last five mins in there.
