.357shooter 1,207
following on from checking my hw45 silverstar i thought i would check the 75.it was a little up on what i was expecting at 2.81ft/lbs .so with a bit more spare time i checked my hw95 and hw100.results were not so good.with my .22 95 i use light pellets at 13.43gr but even so it only has 10.4ft/lbs.so next was the .177 hw100 using aa8.44gr and this only got 10.21ft/lbs.now i know they are both shooting well and in the case of the springer it does shoot well and smooth for a standard gun but it did thow out 5-6 shots that were 40- 50 fps down on the rolling average.so i think it is going to need someone to have a look at it.both are used for target, plinking really but it would still be nice to have a little more power.not wanting anything too close to the limit but 11ft/lbs would be nice.a case of really what should an air rifle that is described as full power not putting that amount out.and yes i know it will not make any difference but too me they should be a bit closer to the limit.just need to find someone really who can work on both.would it just be a case of a service with them to bring them back to stock as such. philpot 4,985
It may be worth taking a gun or more to an rfd to check just in case you have a fault with your chrono, Phil Quote Link to post

.357shooter 1,207
well the chrony i have got is a bit hit and miss.had both airguns checked today and it was out with the hw100 but strangely right with the springer.my maths was right so it looks like a need to buy a skan(sp).
