Car clocking?

The car is getting put on hold, I've been put on flexi-furlough for the next 2-3 weeks and with them laying 57 off this week times are worrying.

I'm booking myself on the 360 course this week.

How much experience you got on a 360

Should milage not be recorded on every mot?

That’s why I’d rather pay £800 with the high mileage than 3k clocked ??

thing is service history is only as honest as the guy that stamps the book, many local small garages do friends a favour.

Very little tbh shagger but once I get the ticket I will be trying to get on one as much as possible. If there's a second wave of this virus coming this winter I have a bad feeling about work tbh.

You will soon pick it up.even 1 day in the seat makes a massive difference.

I hired a mini digger for a day to do some work in the garden last summer.

My 3 lads were on it more than me and picked it up very quick.

It's just time in the seat.

Smooth fluid motion you should be aiming for and not speed.

The speed will come in time.

Good luck with it..

Well I've settled for a Passat, not the most exciting of cars but should be OK with a bit of luck.

The boot isn't as big as I imagined, doing away with the load lip looks to have  seriously cut in to the head room.

That’s EGR, DPF is diesel particulate filter in the exhaust, you can’t blank them off but some of the early ones can be removed and programmed out ?

No problem really but here goes.

Today I took the new car for a run on the motorway, the trip was around 45mins to a hour.

When I pulled up on the drive I let the engine tick over for a few minutes before switching it off.

As I got out the car I noticed that the fans were still spinning and did so for about 5 mins.

Now I'm guessing this is something to do with a DPF regen?

No to do a dpf regen car needs to be running , fans could be still going if theyve been wired on to a delayed circuit , didn't think any body really done this anymore though
