Are you going to be using tapers.....? I use 9.5mm steel. 76 gzk green. 23/18 taper 17cm active length with 1cm for tying to forks. ttf. Will it be different for ott using clips. Shortstraw 476 Posted June 27, 2020 Report Share Posted June 27, 2020 Yes, just measure from the fork tip to how long you need for the band to seat into its clip..... eg 17cm add the above length. On the scout lt I need 0.5cm so 17cm plus 0.5cm. ......17.5cm On the pouch end I add about 1.5cm.....so total length of band cut 19cm You could continue cutting as you are .....adding the 1cm for forks and just double over the excess if necessary. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Will it be different for ott using clips. This is a video on a Celtic catty band template......none in stock at minute as I’m after another, but back next week. Not sure if it’s any help really as it just shows you cutting the taper and the extra space he allows for pouch n forks etc. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
