Well with all the shit thats going on in my life my mate MR SI BROWN

thought i needed a change so TOLD ME not asked me to go to his for some much needed rest time and to get out and do some propper shooting with air rifles .

But before i went i called in on my daughter Natalie to see how she was that day as i do every day since we found out she was terminal with cancer

she has had some intence days on chemo and yesterday she woke up with most of her hair on her pillow

she lay in my arms and cried her heart out .

Now i was going to call it off but she was not having any of it

You need this dad get your self away or ill fall out with you

AND SHE WOULD AN ALL LOL,

Any way the trip down was not good as you can imagine nearly turned round two or three times

But got to si,s and as allways he made me feel right at home as he all ways dose

i needed pellets so we set off to the rfds to get some had a cuppa there as well a bit crack on and a few laughs

i got some jsb heavys 22   18,13gr and a tin of jsb slugs 25,39gr

Then a little later on we set off to the perm where i scoped the raider in with the heavys in 22 out to 50yrds and they were spot on

i then had a little play with the slugs out to 50yrds and they were spot on as well BUT i dont think they would be any good over that distance as i think they would drop off quick after 50yrds .

First shot was 75yrds a pigeon sat up in a tree one shot and it was lights out

we took out a few more then headed for the rabbits missed the first one it ran for cover but came strait back out and i did not miss the second time .

and thats the way it went the rest of the night some times shooting two and three together that were sitting together

bearing in mind this raider is a single shot rifle

it never missed a beat rezmond im back mate finished with well over 30 rabbits and about 8 pigeons

these ones were the ones we could carry back to the truck we left loads for the fox

Nat shaved her hair off lads and she suits it no end loads of family and friends told her now you DO LOOK LIKE YOUR DAD

i feel so sorry for her lol.

Iv got some good mates on here tx,ing me every day asking how i am and how nat is doing

lads like si and sean taking me out shooting to get my mind off things and Phil and Trish helping out even thro there miles and miles away

the hardest time is still to come but with friends like these hopfully they will make it a bit easyer for me

Sorry to hear Natalie,s  lost her hair Jimmy but she was right to send you to Si,s to unwind a while.Your her rock in this  battle Jimmy and like any father are doing your best for her but you need a bit of Jimmy time to keep a bit of sanity .Great shooting as always and some for the pot.

When dad passed to this evil disease 9 years ago i was there every day for 12 weeks and it tore me apart thinking i was unable to do anything but by being there for him and mum i now know was probably the greatest help i could give them .Natalie knows how much your there for her with love and strength and she sent you to Si,s to keep that strength going thoughts are with you both atb Iain
