Bitch been having trouble with a stopper since March knocked it running rough ground and wouldn’t heal she banged it again Sunday doing bit of ratting nice £300 she’s cost me well over grand last 10 months !! She’s lucky she’s half decent !

Had the same a few weeks back. Opened up a few times. Had it cut off in the end and it’s healed. Should have just done it in the first place.

Had a bit of dispute over it with the vet they wanted to stitch it up but she’d only do it again the other side is already gone ! But least it’s gone now

Always best to get them off, the amount of pressure on that area when they’re running will nearly always open scar tissue back up again

Best thing to do before you take her out is rub some Vaseline into the carpal pads (stoppers), it absorbs into the pads and makes them quite flexible, your problem will be solved. Honey applied direct to stopper that cut helps because it works as a barrier to prevent new germs from entering the cut, then the dogs tongue does the rest to keep it clean and healthy

Manuka honey mixed with aloe Vera will have this healed up in no time ,we used to use it on reptile burns ,amazing stuff .

Manuka honey on its own or mixed with aloe Vera will have that cleared up in no time ,keep your dog on the lead and no free running and should heal up ok .
