Daniel cain 45,316
I make my own leads for the river from pebbles, drill them out and glue in a swivel 6 Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Spot on Sean .So easy yet most lads rather spend a few quid on leads .You ever use flat stones for holding bottom .I use to trim them with a disc cutter when I was mad for the barbel ,4 sided flats .Catching a decent fish instantly took the shine off it for me as it’s all about the hunt . Daniel cain 45,316
Think it cost £4 for 2 5 mm drill bits and packet of 20 O- swivels... Make 15/20 before the bits have had it... Be close on £25/30 if buying shop bought leads... Recently started messing around rolling my own baits again after 10 yrs... Works out about £5/6 per kilo, half price on shop bought stuff and having tidy results 1 Quote Link to post

lifelong cumbrian 1,826
Few spoons rigged up on a weak link, don’t loose many fish rigging them up, better than standard spoon. 5 Quote Link to post
